About

Timo Stammberger Portrait

I was born in 1980 in Hamburg and grew up there and in Frankfurt / Main. In 2003 I started exploring the underground of the cities I lived in: Barcelona, Berlin, Frankfurt and New York. Instantly I was fascinated by these places. I then started using photography as a medium and took up studies at the Ostkreuzschule for Photography in Berlin, where I graduated in 2009.

For "Underground Landscapes", I photographed the subway tunnels of cities such as Berlin, New York, Philadelphia, Lisboa, Stockholm, Dortmund and others.

Currently, I'm working on a new Portrait project, as well as trying not to get hit by passing Subway cars.

I live and work in Berlin.
